Massage Therapist Guidelines

Hourly Home Service Massage Therapist Process:

1. Initial Client Contact:

When a client contacts you, be professional, and courteous.
Gather essential information like the client's name, address, contact details, and any specific requirements they might have.
Inquire about any health conditions or medical issues the client might have, as it will help you tailor the massage to their needs.
Provide information about your services and what to expect during the massage.

2. Appointment Confirmation:

Send a confirmation message or call the client before the scheduled appointment to confirm the details.
Remind the client to prepare a quiet and comfortable space for the massage, free from distractions.

3. Before the Session:

Arrive at the client's location on time or a few minutes early to set up your equipment.
Ensure your equipment is clean, sanitized, and in good condition.
Wash your hands thoroughly before starting the massage.

4. During the Massage:

Respect the client's privacy and maintain professionalism at all times.
Communicate with the client to understand their comfort level, pressure preferences, and any feedback during the session.
Use appropriate techniques based on the client's needs, such as Swedish massage, deep tissue, or other modalities you are trained in.
Focus on providing a relaxing and therapeutic experience while being attentive to the client's reactions.

5. Post-Massage:

Provide any necessary aftercare advice based on the massage session (e.g., stretching exercises, self-massage techniques).
Accept payment, whether it's cash, card, or any other agreed-upon method.

6. Follow-up and Feedback:

Encourage clients to provide feedback or testimonials about their experience.
Keep records of your appointments, client preferences, and any specific notes for future sessions.
